lots of social contacts, trips and interesting talks on the Mensa Gatherings.
The board will do its best to make MensaBe a Mensa the members can be proud of, while respecting each other's differences and working together to grow MensaBe in the spirit of Mensa International.
Barely three days into the new year, the number of registered members has already risen to more than 100, with a warm welcome to the 10% "new".

Many of the members already re-registered to the new talklist and new subscriptions are arriving each day.
The IQ-tests officially approved by Mensa International (MIL) for 2012 are already planned and lots of candidates have already registered.
Over the next months, we will organise tests all over the country.

Thanks to the efforts of many volunteers, the drinks, the SIGs (Special Interest Groups) and HIQse's (High IQ secondary effects), the trips and other activities are starting to gather steam.

From the website-front a group of enthusiastic webmasters is improving the website and making it more accessible.
Last month thousands of people have visited our website and a lot of people have already done the pre-test.
The ideas for a completely renewed interactive site are in the blueprint stage.
The new ComMensals are out. The first one appeared in December.
This year additional monthly issues will be published and we are, as always, looking for contributions.

A lot is going on in MensaBe, and with your help we will succeed in making Mensa Belgium the organisation by and for the Mensans.

Mensa is an international society in which the sole criterion for membership is a score at or above the 98th percentile on any of a number of standardised supervised admission tests.
Mensa has three stated purposes: to identify and foster human intelligence for the benefit of humanity, to encourage research in the nature, characteristics and uses of intelligence, and to promote stimulating intellectual and social opportunities for its members.
The 20th november 2011 a new board has been elected on the general meeting.
